In light of recent events, I am finding it especially difficult to write my feelings down today. There is so much hate and violence in the world right now, it’s difficult not to let it overwhelm you and become depressed.

I feel blessed to have the job I have, because I get to witness love in its truest form, as well as document that love, and at Wilson and Damian’s wedding reception on August 5th, 2017, that is exactly what I got to do. Surrounded by their friends and family, Wilson and Damian exchanged vows and declared their love for another. I am honored to have been a part of such a beautiful wedding reception, with two cultures, two families and two individuals coming together as one. Thank you Wilson and Damian for giving me the opportunity to photograph your special day, and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. #realjankewedding
